Anyway, this is partly based on a one shot AU I read where Percy decided to close the Doors of Death from the inside alone. Annabeth was screaming while Jason and Piper tried to hold her. It would be typical for Percy to sacrifice himself. (That is his fatal flaw after all) He’d probably dare anyone who objected to fight him. They’d all be unsure if he was going to survive Tartarus again, especially since he’d just, exhausted, escaped from there. 

Okay I’m rambling. This probably won’t happen, Riordan will come up with something… right?
